LSTM Humanitarian Scholarship

The LSTM Humanitarian Scholarship is offered by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to support students who are at risk as a result of armed conflict, war, or who have been displaced inside their country or forced to leave their country in the last three years due to conflict. The scholarship provides £30,000 which can be used towards tuition fees and living costs for full-time, on-campus master's courses, or tuition fees only for the part-time distance learning MSc Global Health program. Applicants must have a conditional offer from LSTM for a master's course and must be self-funding students. The application requires a 700-word statement demonstrating the risk faced due to armed conflict/war or displacement, explaining academic goals and research interests related to the applied course, and outlining the impact studies will have on career development, reducing health inequality, and providing health leadership. This scholarship opportunity is highly competitive with only one award available per cycle.
