About This Opportunity

The Lubar College of Business Lubar 25 program is a recognition program that aims to honor undergraduate business students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and campus and/or community service. Students selected for this program will be recognized at a special reception, profiled on the Lubar College of Business website and highlighted through various media channels. Recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship and have the opportunity to display this honor on their resumes. The program seeks to celebrate outstanding business students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who have achieved success in multiple areas of college life. To be eligible, students must be undergraduate business majors at UWM with junior or senior standing and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA. They must demonstrate success in at least two of the following areas: academics, entrepreneurship, leadership, or campus/community service. Previous Lubar 25 recipients are not eligible to reapply. Selected students will be evaluated by a panel of judges comprised of business leaders and celebrated for their achievements. The application process requires submission of a current resume, statement of career aspirations, and one letter of recommendation from an individual who can attest to the applicant's commitment to the four core areas. All application materials must be submitted by the deadline for consideration by the selection committee.
