About this opportunity
The Lubar Scholars in Film Scholarship is awarded to select students enrolled in the Peck School of the Arts (PSOA) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship recognizes students majoring in Film, Video, Animation & New Genres (FVANG) who demonstrate artistic merit or innovation within projects created as part of department class work. The scholarship supports students who have achieved sophomore standing or higher, including graduate students, and who are enrolled full-time with at least 6 credits in their major while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. Categories of award consideration include animation, documentary, narrative, experimental, 16mm film, and sound design. Recipients are selected based on their creative work samples and project descriptions submitted as part of the application process.
