Lubar Scholarship for Academic Merit

The Lubar Scholarship for Academic Merit is a renewable scholarship offered to exceptional new first-year students admitted to the Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship is valued at up to $6,100 per year and recognizes students who have demonstrated high academic achievement, including an unweighted high school GPA of 3.5 or higher. Preference may be given to students with demonstrated financial need. This scholarship is renewable for continuing students who maintain eligibility criteria. Recipients must be enrolled full-time as a Lubar College of Business student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA, and earn a minimum of a C or better in each course. The renewable nature of this award provides multi-year support for qualified students throughout their undergraduate business education. The scholarship is administered through the UWM Foundation and is part of the New Freshman Scholarships program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It provides significant financial support to help outstanding students pursue their business education at one of Wisconsin's premier business schools.
