Luc Barton Memorial Scholarship in Music

The Luc Barton Memorial Scholarship in Music is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Department of Music at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on musical merit and academic standing, with preference given to a student who demonstrates a strong interest in science. This endowed scholarship was established by the friends and family of Mr. Luc Barton to honor his memory and support exceptional music students who combine artistic talent with scientific curiosity.
