Lucas Banks Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship honors Lucas Banks, a vibrant young man who lived life to the fullest during his 20 years and had a heart for helping others. Lucas loved the outdoors and had a special connection to Leavenworth, Washington. He was a deep thinker, kind, curious, compassionate, and adventurous person who loved to fix things and help those in need. Lucas was considering a career in firefighting and emergency services when he passed. This scholarship is offered by his family and friends to honor his memory and support students pursuing careers in trades, firefighting, or emergency services. The scholarship is available to Cascade High School seniors and recent graduates who share Lucas's passion for helping others and are pursuing continued education in a trade school, apprenticeship, or certificate program. Preference is given to those pursuing careers as EMTs or firefighters. The scholarship reflects Lucas's values of service, compassion, and dedication to making a positive impact in others' lives. Applicants must be current or previous graduates of Cascade High School and be pursuing continued education in a trade school, apprenticeship, or certificate program. The application opens January 1st and is due June 1st each year.
