Lund Award

The Lund Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing continuing in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on the greatest academic improvement in GPA in the most recent two academic years, calculated on a minimum of 24 credits over the most recent September to April period per year. In case of a tie, preference will be given to students enrolled in one of the following Specializations or Honors programs: Biochemistry, Immunology and Infection, Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or Physiology. This award is funded by endowed funds from the Lund Family and recognizes students who demonstrate significant academic progress and improvement in their science studies.
