Lund University Global Scholarship

The Lund University Global Scholarship is a selective, merit-based scholarship programme designed to recognise top academic students from outside the EU/EEA who are applying for degree programmes at Lund University. Each year, Lund University awards approximately SEK 20.5 million (€1.75 million / $1.85 million) in scholarship grants. As a top 100 university, ranked in the top 0.4% of universities worldwide, Lund University attracts high-achieving students globally. The programme acknowledges academic excellence by offering grants to exceptional students. Scholarships may cover part or all of the tuition fees, with the percentage awarded depending on the programme/faculty budget and not reflecting the student's academic standing. Recipients must still meet the Swedish Migration Agency's requirements by funding their living expenses independently. The scholarship is highly selective, competitive, and based entirely on academic merit, with financial need not considered in the selection process.
