Lund University Global Scholarship

The Lund University Global Scholarship programme is a selective, merit-based scholarship designed to recognize top academic students from outside the EU/EEA who are applying for degree programmes at Lund University. Each year, Lund University awards approximately SEK 26 million in scholarship grants to high-achieving international students. As a top 100 university ranked in the top 0.4% of universities worldwide, Lund University attracts exceptional students globally. The programme acknowledges academic excellence by offering grants to students with a proven track record of consistently high academic performance and a strong fit for Lund University's programmes. The scholarship is highly competitive and based entirely on merit, not financial need. Priority is given to applicants who demonstrate strong academic performance, are assessed as a good fit for the chosen programme, show a strong commitment to studying at Lund University, and have selected a Lund University programme as their first choice when applying. Scholarships may cover part or all of the tuition fees, with the percentage awarded depending on the programme/faculty budget. Recipients must still meet the Swedish Migration Agency's requirements by funding their living expenses independently.
