About this opportunity

The LVE/Marvin and Mary L. Gantz Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to students in the Ligonier Valley High School. This scholarship supports graduating seniors who plan to continue their education at 2-year or 4-year colleges, universities, or accredited vocational/technical trade schools. The scholarship is designed to support well-rounded students who demonstrate involvement in a variety of activities including athletics, arts, community service, clubs and organizations, spiritual life, and/or employment. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and show active involvement in volunteering or community service activities in the Ligonier Valley area. Immediate family members of any person serving on the Ligonier Valley Endowment Board of Governors are ineligible for this scholarship. Awards are single-year and can provide up to $4,000 to help with educational expenses.
