Löwenska stiftelsen

Löwenska stiftelsen provides assistance to those in need in the former parishes of Svärta and Lästringe, primarily with connections to Sjösa farm and Gärdesta farm. The foundation was established through several gift deeds and testaments. According to extracts from some of the gift deeds, the foundation provides annual gifts during Christmas time to the poor within Lästringe parish, as well as assistance for medical care, healthcare at institutions or in homes, stays at health resorts, sanatoriums, or other similar help for sick members residing within Lästringe parish. The foundation is administered by the Division of Social Care in Nyköping Municipality and applications can be submitted via a downloadable form.
