LWV Graduate Scholarship

The LWV Graduate Scholarship was established through a transfer of funds from the L.W. Vigrass Prize in Geology to assist students who are pursuing a graduate degree in the Faculty of Science, majoring in Petroleum Geology. Two scholarships are available, each valued at $1,675, to support both full-time and part-time graduate students at the University of Regina. The scholarship is awarded to Canadian citizens or permanent residents enrolled in the Faculty of Science pursuing the field of Petroleum Geology who have achieved a minimum of 70% cumulative GPA. The award may be given to either thesis-based or course-based students and can only be received once throughout a student's academic career. Applications are accepted with deadlines on September 29 and February 28 each year.
