M.A. Micklewright Award

An award given every other year to full-time graduate students in the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria. The award recognizes the graduate student with the highest grade point average who has completed all course requirements. Approval of the recipient is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Department of Geography. The award amount varies and no application is required as awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units. Recipients must normally maintain a minimum A- average and be enrolled as full-time graduate students.
