MA Scholarship in History

This scholarship was generously funded by alumni, staff and the history community to encourage and support students to pursue postgraduate study in History at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship is available to students enrolled or intending to enrol in a Master's thesis in History at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. Selection is based on academic merit, with preference given to applicants originating from outside major urban areas if candidates are of equal merit. The scholarship provides financial support of $25,000 for one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study. Recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for Victoria University of Wellington and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
