Mabel Matthews Scholarship

The Mabel Matthews Scholarship supports students at Tarrant County College who are pursuing associate degrees or certificates of completion in business-related fields including accounting, business, marketing, real estate, or related areas of study. This merit-based scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 for continuing students or high school equivalent/GED for first-time students, along with enrollment in at least 9 credit hours during the award period. Preference is given to applicants who are single heads of household with dependent children. Recipients who maintain a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester will automatically receive a spring scholarship renewal. The scholarship is awarded through the Tarrant County College Foundation and does not require determination of financial need.
