About this opportunity
This Master by Research scholarship is offered through the CSIRO Next Generation Graduate Program in collaboration with Praetorian Aeronautics and RMIT University. The research project focuses on developing machine learning methods for autonomous search of radio frequency emitters using a swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The scholarship provides support for domestic students to conduct industry-based higher degree research in this cutting-edge field combining machine learning, UAV technology, and radio frequency signal detection. The research will involve programming and simulation, mathematical modeling, machine learning applications including reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems, signal processing for spectrum sensing and localization, and optimization and control algorithm development for decision-making under constraints.
