The Maclab-Garneau Indigenous Award in Accounting and Finance is awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance. Selection is based on academic standing and indicated financial need. The award is funded through endowed funds by Maclab Development Group and is administered by the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta.
