MacPherson Family Award

The MacPherson Family Award is an undergraduate scholarship awarded to students in their third or fourth year of study at the University of Alberta. This award supports students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in a wide range of faculties including Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation, Native Studies, Nursing, or Science. Selection is based on both academic standing and demonstrated financial need. The award gives preference to students who are single parents, recognizing the unique challenges they face in pursuing higher education. Students are automatically considered for this award when they complete the General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
