About this opportunity
The Maier Foundation Scholarship Fund provides one or more scholarships of up to $5,000 to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or medicine at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. Applicants must have a cumulative high school or college GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale and reside in Collin or Denton County at the time of application. Selection criteria include academic achievement, letters of recommendation, essay response, and financial need. Preference is given to first generation college students. This scholarship is administered by the Communities Foundation of Texas and is open to United States citizens or documented legal residents.
