Main Grants Programme

The Main Grants Programme by London Catalyst aims to address factors that influence health outcomes including poverty, housing, education, employment, discrimination and isolation. The programme funds registered charity organisations with an income of £500,000 or less that are based and operating in London. Organisations can apply for grants for unrestricted costs, core costs or project costs (existing or new projects). Funding is provided for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years, with a maximum grant of £10,000 per year. A two-stage application process is used for multi-year funding. For 2026, the annual budget is £181,000. The programme specifically supports organisations that benefit adult residents of London (within M25) and tackle social determinants of health, including provision of economic stability, access to advice and information, and addressing social isolation.
