About This Opportunity

Majblomman is a Swedish children's rights organization that provides economic support to children in families where money is tight. The support can be used for items such as football shoes, a bus pass, fees for recreational activities, or a jacket in the right size. The application is made by the child's guardian, and for unaccompanied minors, the application is made by their legal guardian. Economic support is granted to children throughout the calendar year they turn 18. The organization does not provide support for items that the municipality can grant economic assistance for (such as food, formula, diapers, furniture, or strollers), foreign travel, medications, passports, residence permit fees, or driver's licenses. Applications require a valid certificate from someone who knows the child's situation from their professional role, such as school personnel, social workers, association leaders, sports leaders, or contact persons in religious communities.
