About this opportunity
The Make-A-StarT (MAST) programme has been created by the Lincolnshire Community Foundation to help sixteen-year-olds and over who are living within the Greater Lincolnshire area who need support to remove the final financial barriers blocking them from getting into employment or further education, and who also fail to meet the support criteria elsewhere. If an application is successful, the grant awarded will enable tailored training and/or equipment to be purchased that will then help lead the applicant into employment or further education. The average grant awarded is £150.00 however, each application is reviewed and assessed on its own merits and additional funding could potentially be provided. This programme specifically targets individuals who are engaged in no more than sixteen hours of employment per week, have the right to work in the United Kingdom, and cannot receive financial support from another statutory organisation.
