About this opportunity

The Making Local Life Better grants programme is designed to support grassroots organisations working to make a real difference in the lives of people facing disadvantage in Leicestershire and Rutland. The programme supports projects tackling isolation, reducing health inequalities, improving wellbeing, providing opportunities for young people, and helping communities thrive. The relaunched programme features no application deadlines, allowing groups to apply at any time, with more frequent grant panels to help organisations receive funding sooner. The Foundation prioritises locally run and managed organisations, those supporting inclusion by proactively addressing barriers to participation, organisations with a turnover of less than £1,000,000, and those with free reserves between 3 and 6 months core operating costs.
