About this opportunity
The Malcolm MacIntyre Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of the JD degree program in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing. This scholarship was established by endowed funds from the family in memory of Dr. MacIntyre, who taught at Dalhousie, served as professor and Dean of Law at the University of Alberta, and was Professor of Law at the University of British Columbia from 1948 until his untimely death in 1964. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application to the university.
