Mamco Selab Scholarship

The Mamco Selab Scholarship is offered by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) to support Nigerian nationals pursuing diploma, master's, or PhD studies. The scholarship is designed for applicants who are ordinarily domiciled in Nigeria and intend to return to Nigeria to advance healthcare upon completion of their course. Recipients must demonstrate how their studies will support their career, reduce health inequality, and provide leadership in Nigeria. The scholarship provides £20,000 per year to cover educational expenses. Only one scholarship is available per intake. Applicants must have received a conditional offer from LSTM for their preferred course and must submit a completed scholarship application form along with a personal statement of up to 700 words demonstrating their eligibility, academic goals, and intended impact on Nigerian health systems.
