Margaret and Walter Lowell Voluntary Service Scholarship

The Margaret and Walter Lowell Voluntary Service Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University who have demonstrated substantial volunteer service in their local communities. This scholarship recognizes students who have contributed meaningfully to their communities through volunteer work, regardless of their academic performance or financial circumstances. Recipients must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with at least one semester of residence at EIU and be currently enrolled. The selection process alternates between the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (odd fiscal years) and the College of Education (even fiscal years). The award is announced each Spring semester and issued the following Fall semester.
