About this opportunity

The Margaret Andrekson Scholarship in Art History is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies with a major in Art History in the Bachelor of Arts Degree program or a major in Art History in the Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree program. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have achieved at least a 3.3 grade point average on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in each of the preceding years of their degree program and must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in their year of application. The recipient will be chosen on the basis of academic standing. This scholarship is made possible through endowed funds by Margaret Andrekson and is administered by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. In exceptional circumstances, a student may be considered eligible if their course load in one of the years of their program has been reduced for good cause to a minimum of 1.7 courses for the year.
