About this opportunity
Awards from the Margaret Ida Howie Fund are made to Indigenous Australian women in New South Wales who are undertaking tertiary study. The program includes three components: the Margaret Ida Memorial Scholarship for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women undertaking an approved course of study at a university in New South Wales; the Margaret Ida Memorial Course Assistance Fund for women studying at a tertiary institution in NSW to attend conferences or access required resources; and the Margaret Ida Memorial Incidentals Support Fund for women undertaking courses at TAFE in NSW to enable workforce entry. Applications are assessed on financial need with priority given to single men with children or family responsibilities.
