Margaret Presh Kates Scholarship

The Margaret Presh Kates Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year for a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. The scholarship is endowed by husband Max Kates and grandson Brian Kates. Selection is based on academic standing, and students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application. This scholarship supports continuing education students within the Faculty of Education who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.
