Margarita Heron, Pine Lake String Award

The Margarita Heron, Pine Lake String Award is an annual scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the undergraduate program in the Department of Music at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes and supports students demonstrating excellence in general musicianship and competency in string instruments including violin, viola, cello, double bass, or guitar. This endowed award was established by the late Mr. SA Heron and family to support music students pursuing their undergraduate studies.
