Margery V Turnbull Scholarship

This scholarship was established by a generous donation from Margery V Turnbull 1943, in order to support students from Scotland and the Rest of the UK in their studies at St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £4,400 per year paid as maintenance, which can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. This award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme and is available to full-time and part-time students across all academic subjects.
