About this opportunity
The Marie Adams Memorial Award is granted to a student who is entering full-time study in their first undergraduate degree program at UPEI, normally resident in Prince Edward Island, and in greatest financial need. This award is intended to ease the financial burden of the recipient while pursuing a university degree. Marie Imelda Adams was a proud 1950 graduate of Saint Dunstan's University in Charlottetown. A woman of deep faith and strong ethics, Marie volunteered her time with Catholic charities devoted to helping others in need including Hope Cottage and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. This award is established by Marie's family as a tangible legacy to her time at Saint Dunstan's University and as a reminder that her heart never left Prince Edward Island.
