About this opportunity
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) support researchers' careers and foster excellence in research. The program targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers. Postdoctoral Fellowships help researchers gain experience in other countries, disciplines and non-academic sectors.
There are two types of fellowships available: European Postdoctoral Fellowships for researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from another part of the world (lasting 1-2 years), and Global Postdoctoral Fellowships for mobility outside Europe (lasting 2-3 years with a mandatory 1-year return phase). Both types may include short-term secondments anywhere in the world and can include an additional 6-month placement in a non-academic organization.
The program provides comprehensive financial support including living allowances, mobility allowances, family allowances if applicable, and funding for research, training, networking activities, management and indirect costs. Researchers must have a maximum of eight years research experience from the date of their PhD award and must comply with mobility rules. Applications are developed jointly between the researcher and a host organization based in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.
