Mark Cohen Ophthalmology Prize

The Mark Cohen Ophthalmology Prize is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement who is convocating with a Doctor of Medicine. The selection is based on Ophthalmology electives completed and a demonstrated interest in the field of ophthalmology. The recipient must be matched to a Canadian ophthalmology postgraduate training program. The award is provided through annual funds by Dr. Mark Cohen and is administered by the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Recipients cannot hold a Mark Cohen Prize from another university or receive this award more than once.
