About this opportunity
The Mark Ford Ngā Tapuwae Scholarship for Māori Students was established in 2015 and is funded by Watercare Services Ltd in memory of Mark Ford and his outstanding service to Watercare and the water industry, as Chief Executive of Watercare. The scholarship provides up to $7,000 in annual funding to support a Māori student enrolled full-time in Part II or Part III of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and support Māori students undertaking study in these engineering disciplines, providing assistance with study-related expenses. One scholarship is offered annually with a tenure of one year.
