Mark J. Van Hecke '77 & Theresa Grzanka-Van Hecke Music Scholarship

The Mark J. Van Hecke '77 & Theresa Grzanka-Van Hecke Music Scholarship is awarded to select students enrolled in the Peck School of the Arts (PSOA) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports undergraduate music composition majors who demonstrate artistic merit and maintain full-time enrollment status with at least 6 credits in their major. Recipients must be registered for performance lessons on their principal instrument and participate in a major ensemble. The scholarship gives preference to students who demonstrate an interest in composing music for performing and media arts including Theatre, Music, and Film. Financial need may also be considered in the selection process. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award.
