Marlene J. Cherry The 3 Generation Award

The Marlene J. Cherry The 3 Generation Award is an endowed scholarship established by Brenda Cherry, Corrine & James MacLean, Leanne Cherry & Christopher Brown, Paul Natland, and other family and friends. The award supports undergraduate students in their third or fourth year who are enrolled in the Faculty of Education, Alberta School of Business, or Faculty of Arts with a major in Music at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership through extracurricular involvement in University and/or community organizations, and indicated financial need. The award gives preference to students who have demonstrated intent to pursue career opportunities in a rural community. If a candidate cannot be found in any one faculty, the next highest ranking candidate from the other faculties will be considered. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application.
