Marokus Scholarship in Physical Education

The Marokus Scholarship in Physical Education is awarded annually to recognize and support outstanding students in the Bachelor of Kinesiology program at the University of Alberta. The scholarship is based on a combination of high academic standing and demonstrated gymnastics ability. This award was established through endowed funds by Dr. Roy Marokus in appreciation of the instruction offered by the Department of Physical Education to his daughters, Brooke Harmon Marokus and Kristin Cameron Marokus. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application, making this a streamlined opportunity for qualified students already enrolled in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation.
