About this opportunity
The Martha Meade Memorial Scholarship is designed for graduating seniors from Westmoor High School in Daly City, California, who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college/university or in a vocational program leading to a certificate. This scholarship was established in memory of Martha Meade, an educator and school administrator who spent her career in service to the students of Westmoor High School and the Jefferson Union High School District in Daly City, California.
The scholarship program seeks to provide support to students who demonstrate a genuine love of learning in their chosen field of study and a demonstrated desire to serve the community at large. Recipients must demonstrate financial need or hardship and a commitment to community service.
The scholarship provides up to $3,000 in financial support to help students pursue their educational goals. Eligible students must be current graduating seniors planning to enroll on a full-time basis in a college, university, or vocational program leading to an industry-recognized certification or state licensure.
