Martin J. Mitchell Scholarship Fund

The Martin J. Mitchell Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide one or more scholarships at a college or university for an employee or a child of an employee or former employee of Iron Age (previously Childs) Corporation. This single-year scholarship award is designed to support eligible students pursuing higher education at a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and be associated with Iron Age (Childs) Corporation through employment or family connection. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years, making it possible to receive support throughout their educational journey.
