About this opportunity
The Marvin B. Loeb Sign Language Interpreting Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered by the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing studies in sign language interpreting. This scholarship is designed for students who are currently enrolled at Tarrant County College and are committed to obtaining interpreter certification upon completion of their degree. The award is available to students who have successfully completed their first year in the Sign Language Interpreting AAS program and have been accepted into the second year. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in sign language courses, enroll in at least 7 credit hours, and have completed at least 24 credit hours at TCC. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains academic standards and enrollment requirements. This scholarship is funded by Tarrant County College Faculty and Staff and The Loeb Family.
