About this opportunity
The Mary and Nick Ruryk Scholarship in Botany was established by the Estate of Victor Nicholas Ruryk in honor of Mary and Nick Ruryk's farming heritage. This scholarship supports students studying botany in the Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary. The award is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science who are majoring in Plant Biology. Recipients are selected based on academic merit. Up to four awards of up to $15,000 each are available annually to eligible students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
