Mary "Eleanor" Darrach Awards

The Mary "Eleanor" Darrach Awards are granted to students who have identified as a senior at the University of Prince Edward Island. This award was established in memory of Mary "Eleanor" Darrach, who passed away on April 4, 2012, at age 92. Eleanor provided a residual beneficiary gift to UPEI, and these awards were established in the spirit of her intentions for this gift. The award provides up to $1,000 in financial support to eligible senior students. Eleanor was a loving mother who, along with her husband Lee and son David, left a lasting legacy at the university through this generous contribution.
