Mary Fong Bursaries

The Mary Fong Bursaries are awarded annually to students on the basis of academic standing and financial need. The bursaries are available to students completing their first, second, or third year of a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta. Established through endowed funds by Dr. Amy Fong Wong in memory of her mother, Mrs. Mary Fong, these bursaries support medical students in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
