Mary Jo Stipek Scholarship

The Mary Jo Stipek Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education (SOE) graduate, post-baccalaureate, and/or international students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship is designed to support students enrolled in Online Reading Teacher Certification, Reading Specialist, and/or Curriculum and Instruction: Reading Education programs within the School of Education. The scholarship requires recipients to be full- or part-time students who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA and maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong preference is given to students who intend to or are currently educating within Milwaukee Public Schools after graduation. This award is funded by the Educators Legacy Foundation and provides $15,000 in support to recipients who meet the eligibility criteria.
