About this opportunity
The Mary McAndrews Scholarship is awarded to select School of Information Studies (SOIS) continuing graduate students at UW-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports students enrolled part or full-time in the Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program, specifically those pursuing Public Library and/or School Librarianship specializations. Recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA, maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, maintain satisfactory academic progress, earn at least a B in all core classes, and be registered for a minimum of 3 INFOST credits by May 1. Strong preference is given to students who graduated from a high school within the City of Milwaukee and current residents of Milwaukee. The scholarship amount varies depending on available funding and the number of qualified applicants.
