Mary N. Bales Entrance Scholarship

The Mary N. Bales Entrance Scholarship is an undergraduate entrance award offered by the University of Waterloo. One or two scholarships, valued at up to $2,500 each, are awarded annually to outstanding students admitted to the first year of an undergraduate program in any faculty at the University of Waterloo. This fund was established in 2004 by Mary Bales, MA English '72 and MPhil '73 and 2002 recipient of the Arts Alumni Achievement Award. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and is open to students entering any program at the university. No application is required, as students are automatically considered based on their admission information and academic merit.
