Mary Ruth Jeffery Fund

The Mary Ruth Jeffery Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarship support to graduating seniors from Shaler Area High School. This single-year award is designed to help students pursue post-secondary education at accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. The scholarship requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and gives preference to applicants who can demonstrate financial need. The fund aims to support students from the Shaler Area High School community in achieving their educational goals through financial assistance for their first year of post-secondary education.
