Maryanne Mather Fund

The Maryanne Mather Fund is a scholarship established in 2005 by Dr. Sebastian Ciancio, D.D.S. '61, Ms. Janet Mather, Ed.M. '87, and other friends and family to honor the memory of Maryanne Mather, B.S. '66, a dedicated staff member in the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship supports dental students who are majoring in the School of Dental Medicine and specializing in Periodontics or Preventative Dentistry. The award amount varies and is designed to provide financial assistance to qualified students pursuing these specialized areas of dental study. Recipients must be enrolled at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and demonstrate a commitment to the fields of periodontics or preventative dentistry.
