About This Opportunity

The Mason Family Trust Scholarship supports commencing Bachelor of Fine Arts students at RMIT University who can demonstrate circumstances which impact their study. This scholarship provides financial assistance of $10,000 per year for up to three years to eligible students. The scholarship is designed to support students from diverse backgrounds including those receiving low income benefits, living with disabilities, experiencing personal difficulties, or coming from rural/regional areas. Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or humanitarian visa holders who are residents of Victoria and demonstrate innovative approaches to traditional materials or techniques in the creation of their art. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree supports innovative, creative and independent art practice with specialisations emerging from long art traditions in painting, drawing, print, gold and silversmithing, ceramics, sculpture and photography and moving image.
